Patience


Patience-Preserverence-PrayerPatience is a great virtue for all of us to practice. Patience gives us the power to overcome obstacles in life and work towards our goals. Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and other great religions all teach the virtue of patience in the face of life’s adversities.

We urge you, brothers, be patient with all. See that no one returns evil for evil; rather, always seek what is good for each other and for all.

The patient man shows much good sense, but the quick-tempered man displays folly at its height.

No one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint, none but persons of the greatest good fortune.
